Simon Anderson works at the Canada High Commission. He has had a long relationship with Border Crossings through the ORIGINS Festival. He was involved from the first planning stages in 2007-8, and supported the first festival in 2009 through the use of Canada House for an Ondinnok workshop and the work of the High Commission's resident graphic designer. The relationship has been ongoing, right through to the 2021-22 Festival, in the altered format for Covid-19. This last Festival included the film MAGNETIC NORTH, which Border Crossings made in collaboration with the British Museum and Indigenous artists, particularly Inuit.
